My Story…
On May 26th, I will be participating in a 10km run to raise funds for SCI (Spinal Cord Injury), an organization that holds a special place in my heart. I'm running in support of my friend, Shamel Elsayed.
Shamel's journey, marked by resilience and strength, began when he faced a life-altering spinal cord injury in his early 20s. In those challenging times, SCI stepped in as a beacon of hope, offering unwavering support and assistance when he needed it most. Now, it's our turn to give back and ensure that SCI continues its vital mission of empowerment and advocacy for individuals like Shamel.
This year's run holds even more significance as my daughter and wife will be joining our team. Their presence adds an extra layer of inspiration and motivation to our cause. My personal goal for the run? Well, it's to try and keep up with Tia who is sure to set a brisk pace!
But I can't do this alone. I need your support to make a real difference in the lives of individuals like Shamel who rely on SCI's vital services. Your contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way in providing essential support and resources to those in need.
Will you join me in supporting SCI and helping to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals living with spinal cord injuries? Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.
