Why am I supporting Foothills Academy Society?
Hi Family and Friends,
It's my fifth year at Foothills Academy and I'm now in Grade 7. I have completed a novel study of The Hobbit this year in Language Arts and am showing my dad new ways to do long division (which he has to check the 'old way' to trust). I did Amicus Overnight Camp and Multisport Activities last year with other kids from Calgary and around Alberta.
Running the 5 km distance in the Calgary Marathon will help me raise money so that kids who need Foothills services can get them at the school, at recreation and summer camps.

We are back with our #StrideforGreatness at Foothills Academy Society! This organization helps thousands of children, youth and their families every year who have Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD with wrap-around services for literacy, psychology, camps, recreation, community education and school programs.
There are 4 teams competing to out-fundraise, out-spell, outrun, and out-silly each other to support building new program areas at Foothills Academy Society.
