My Story…
I am running the Calgary 1/2 Marathon (21.1km) on May 26, 2024. I am running this race in memory of Ted. I am also running to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Canada in his memory. Ted was taken from us far too early on January 3, 2023, after a very short fight with Pancreatic Cancer. I miss him dearly as he left a huge imprint on my heart. Please consider donating in his memory. If you'd like to come out on race day to cheer me on I would love that!
Description
We aren’t looking for sympathy. We’re looking for results. That means raising survival rates by funding research, as well as increasing awareness, education and patient support. We’ve invested nearly $5 million across Canada. Which means we’re on the cusp of a breakthrough in early detection, treatment and improving patient outcomes.
