My Story…
Seven months ago, I suddenly and unexpectedly lost my husband. His passing changed my life in ways I never thought possible. His absence is felt each and everyday. Just hours before his death, I promised I would continue to make him proud. With that being said, I will be joining my daughter Ainsleigh on May 5th in the Toronto Marathon to raise money for the Sick Kids Foundation in his memory.
Participating in the 5km marathon in remembrance of my husband holds special significance as it allows me to honour his memory while supporting a cause close to his heart. Lee had a compassionate heart for those facing health challenges. Participating in this event in his memory not only celebrates his life but also continues his legacy of kindness and generosity. With each step, I will carry his memory forward, knowing that even the smallest donation can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
