It's an unfortunate reality that cancer remains the leading cause of death for Canadians. With cases projected to double in the next two decades, it's likely that each of us knows someone who has been touched by this disease. Amidst this challenge, the Princess Margaret Foundation stands at the forefront, tirelessly aiding our loved ones in their battle against cancer.

I extend my deepest admiration to all survivors for their unwavering strength and courage as they navigate the physical and emotional demands of their journey, both in and out of treatment. Alongside them stands the unwavering support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, recognized as one of the world's top five cancer research institutions. Through groundbreaking scientific advancements and exceptional patient care, this center provides our community with hope and a fighting chance.

On May 5th, I will be participating in the Toronto half marathon to support our community and the facilities dedicated to cancer care. I invite you to join me by making a donation of your choice.
