My Story…
This May I will be running in the Pittsburgh Marathon to benefit Envision Blind Sports. As a teacher of students with visual impairments, I work with awesome students throughout Mercer County. Envision Blind Sports supports our teachers and students in their recreational and sports endeavors. I'm looking to raise money to support this wonderful organization and their efforts to provide adapted physical activities and sports for individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
Description
WHO WE ARE: Envision Blind Sports is a program that provides year-round sport and physical activity opportunities for children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. We began championing our mission in 2006 and since then have become an official non-profit in 2017. Every year we are able to provide sports clinics, educational support, outdoor adventures, and a yearly camp to over 100 athletes.
