My Story…
It's time to lace up my running shoes once again and run for a reason in support of the ALS Association of Western PA. Since my dad, Luke Kelly, was diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2021, the ALS Association has been by our side, providing support, resources, and friendship. I've been lucky enough to join a group of incredible people in the fight to end ALS, and the purpose the work has given me has made all of the difference in my approach to my dad's diagnosis. It's given me hope, and that's the most powerful medicine.
This year, I've spoke with our elected officials, planned fundraisers, and chaired committees to put an end to this disease. Now, I ask that you support me once again as we take the streets of Pittsburgh to show that we won't stop until ALS is beat. Thank you all for your support!
Description
The ALS Association Western Pennsylvania Chapter and Team Challenge ALS are running in honor of those currently living with ALS and in remembrance of those we have lost to the disease. The funds raised by our team provide help and hope to those living with ALS by supporting local patient care, advocacy, and global research to find treatments and a cure for this always fatal disease.
