My Story…
As the May 2024 marathon approaches, it coincides with the second anniversary of my diagnosis with a horrid cancer called Carcinosarcoma mixed Mullerian Tumor. Reflecting on this period, the journey to overcome the challenges was not always smooth, but today, I am grateful to say that I am cancer-free. My optimism and hope persist, thanks to the incredible people at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and their Foundation, who tirelessly raise awareness for underresourced women's cancers.
