My Story…
I am participating in the BMO Half Marathon to raise money for the BC Cancer Foundation.
My Mom was my cheerleader my entire life, but everything changed when she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020. I became her cheerleader during her courageous battle against the disease. Those two years were incredibly tough, yet she faced the challenges with grace and positivity.
Although I have never been a runner, my Mom always encouraged me to try new things. I hope to make her proud and feel her cheering me on as I cross the finish line of this half marathon.
