My Story…
This coming year, in honor of my late mother, Cindy Johnson, I am participating in the Vancouver Marathon. My mother's battle with brain cancer ended 15 years ago, just shy of her 40th birthday. However, the remarkable strength and bravery shown throughout her struggle with this terrible disease continues to inspire me every day.
To keep her memory alive, I've decided to support the BC Cancer Foundation. This organization is committed to advancing cancer research and care, offering hope and help to those currently fighting this illness.
My Goal is to raise $4219.50, $100 for each KM of the race!
I am deeply grateful to everyone who supports me in this endeavor. Your involvement not only helps keep my mom's memory alive but also contributes meaningfully to the ongoing battle against cancer.
