My Story…
Hi I’m Martin and my brother Ian and I are running in the half marathon to raise money for BC Cancer Foundation as this is a cause we believe needs more funding.
Our dad, David, bravely fought cancer for as long as he could but unfortunately he passed away June 6th, 2023. Coincidentally the race will be ran the day after what would have been his 65th birthday. I know he would definitely have been there at the finish line to congratulate us.
If we can raise money and it helps just one family like ours it will mean everything to me. And I know how much it would mean to my dad too, as he always did so much to help others.
Every little bit helps and every donation will be hugely appreciated by me, my family and BC Cancer Foundation.
