Why I'm Running...
My dad, Frank Kelly, was a veteran of WW 2. He was wounded in action but returned to the front lines after 10 days. There is a street named after the Black Watch Regiment of Montreal in France in gratitude for the heroic service of my dad and his fellow soldiers. Many of them, including my father, received medical services from Veterans Affairs.
I run in memory of my dad and in gratitude to all veterans.
