2024 BMO Vancouver Marathon International

Open to children aged 6-12 years old, the BMO Vancouver Marathon Kids Run takes place on the Saturday before Race Day at Stanley Park and is designed to inspire kids to get moving, make healthy choices, and feel confident. Each child receives a race shirt, bib, medal and snack. This positive, memorable experience will last your kids a lifetime. Join in! The Kids Run returns Saturday, May 4, 2024.

The non-profit Vancouver International Marathon Society RUNVAN® continues to drive sell-out numbers across its events. Capacity limits are set in collaboration with City of Vancouver Stakeholders.

Runners are encouraged to register early for future BMO Vancouver Marathon events. Caps are set pre-event in collaboration with City Stakeholders. These limits help ensure an optimal racing experience for all, including runners and volunteers. Foremost, safety and the ability to deliver emergency medical services is of utmost importance. The event may not exceed its capacity limits.

Held annually on the first Sunday of May, next year’s Marathon is set for May 4, 2025. New 2025 registration will open later, and you’re encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. RUNVAN events continue to sell-out earlier and earlier due to the high demand nationally and internationally.

Bib transfers are not allowed for safety, legal and liability reasons. If one attempts to race without an officially registered race bib, that time will be registered as DNF or Did Not Finish, and event organizers will ban that runner from future races.
