Registration for the 2024 Forest City Cycling Challenge
is now open!

Our start/finish is once again at Boler Mountain in Byron (on the west side of London).

The Forest City Cycling Challenge consists of four road routes (25/50/100/160km which make up the Gran Fondo) and a mountain biking route (Boler's 10km MTB course; NEW for '24 is a 'poker run' - ride as much as you want - get 2 cards per lap and a chance at prizes).
All routes will have rest stops with washrooms, food, water and hydration. We will also have high quality photographs of the event and participants.

Registration includes:

Event t-shirt (if you enter before May 16, 2024).
Event water bottle.
Hydration, coffee and light breakfast snacks at the start.
The ride/route of your choice.
Hot lunch and one beer (or a non-alcoholic drink for those not of legal drinking age) at the finish.
Entries into draws if you fundraise $100 or more.
Fundraising awards at various levels.
We will also have high quality photographs of the event and participants.

If you're interested in a more casual ride, our friends at London Cycle Link are organizing a free, police-escorted 'Slow Roll' through the streets of downtown London on Saturday, June 1, 2024. More information is available here.

Event Merchandise

We do have merchandise available for purchase through our online stores.

You will receive one free t-shirt with your event entry (if you sign up before May 16) but you can purchase additional t-shirts by going to our Race Roster store.

You can also purchase an event jersey (road or MTB), bib shorts or cap by going to our Jakroo Store.

Fundraising

While individual fundraising is not mandatory as part of the event, it is certainly encouraged and there are incentives available for those who choose to do so. These are as follows (all fundraising totals are as of midnight on Wednesday May 29, 2024):

$100+ to enter to win draw prizes.
[Must be present at Boler at 2:30pm on event day in order to win.]
$300+ to receive a $50 local bike store gift card.
$750+ to receive a custom event cycling jersey.
[We're back to Jakroo for jerseys this year - NOT the same company we used last year, so the sizing should be more reliable.]
$1,500+ to receive a pair of custom event cycling bib shorts.
Top fundraiser will receive a $1,000 gift card for a local bike shop.
Second-highest fundraiser will receive a two-night stay at Tailwinds Bed & Breakfast.
Third-highest fundraiser will receive a $100 gift card to a local restaurant of their choice.

Registration Change and Cancellation Policy:

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund fees or transfer registrations to another rider once you have completed the registration process. You can change between the 25km, 50km and MTB routes without cost, and between the 100km and 160km routes without cost, but please inform us if you do so, so that we know how many people to expect at the rest stops. To make a change, please contact us.
