My Story…
I was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer in July 2022. Last year, I walked the Bumrun and completed it in just under an hour.
This year, I have set a few "stretch goals" for myself:
1) I want to run the entire race and complete it in under 1/2 hour; and
2) I want to be cancer-free when I run it.
These are both pretty big goals and some might even say I'll need a miracle to achieve them. However, I am confident that with the support of my amazing family and friends, my fabulous medical team and the tireless work of CCRAN I can get there!
