My Story…
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in January 2018. Since then, I have had 115 rounds of Chemotherapy and still counting! I'm scheduled for my next treatment on May 16, 2024!
It's not just that I am a durable person, I also lean on the Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network https://www.ccran.org/ for support. CCRAN is an organization that helps Patients and Caregivers in the here and now with everything from hosting Support Groups through to advice on how to navigate the health care system.
If you want to learn something I have had to learn the hard way from cancer, I will tell you. If you love or admire someone, let them know it. Don’t be shy to tell them how you feel and remind them often. It will make you feel good and them feel great. No matter how tough things get, there are #SUNNYDAYS ahead of you!!
