Raise money for The Capital Kiwi Project
The Capital Kiwi Project is the mission is to restore a large-scale population of wild kiwi to the hills of our capital city.
After years of hard work, kiwi are calling from the wild of Wellington's west for the first time in 150 years. The project is a partnership between community, iwi, and landowners committed to looking after the animal that we take our name from. It is delivering kiwi conservation at unprecedented scale and pace.
We're stoked that Faultline Ultra racers will be sharing the trails with our taonga and national icon.
Kiwi are tough, adaptable and fast over the ground; qualities that runners and riders will need to draw on in traversing the ridges of Te Upoko o te Ika a Maui.
Thanks for the support. Go Kiwi!
