Celebrate Canada Day with us in-person or virtually. The 1KM kids race makes this a great event for the whole family!
Seniors 65 and over and youth 16 and under save $10 on registration fees for the 5KM/10KM events.

The 2024 Canada Day Races will be raising funds for McMaster Children's Hospital. Proceeds from the Kids 1KM event will go directly to support this great cause.
Join us in Burlington the day before on June 30th!
We will also be celebrating Canada Day on June 30th with a 5KM race in Spencer Smith Park!
What's Included
The 2024 Finisher Medal is Truly One of a Kind!
The medal opens up to reveal a special Canada Day celebration bracelet on the inside! Everyone who participates in the 5KM and 10KM events (both in-person and virtually) will receive one of these medals.
Each race kit for the 5KM and 10KM events includes a Canada Day celebration tank top!
Both men's and women's sizing available. A shirt is included with registration for both the 5KM and 10KM events (both in-person and virtual). Canada Day shirts can be purchased as an add on for the 1KM event.
Everyone who completes the 1KM event will receive a finisher medal with a removable maple leaf bracelet! 
Event Details
9:00AM - 5KM and 10KM Start
There is no parking available directly at the event site. Parking is available within Confederation Beach Park a little bit further down from the event site. You can park at the OBHL arena parking lot or at the parking lot next to Wild Waterworksand walk down to the event site. It is recommended that you arrive for 8:00AM to give yourself time to park, go to the washroom, get your bib, etc. 
Race Results:
The 5KM and 10KM race will be chip timed, race timing services will be provided by Speed River Timing. Results can be found at speedrivertiming.com
Strollers are permitted in the race, we just ask that if you are running with a stroller you start at the back of the corral. Dogs are NOT permitted to take part in any of the events.

Virtual Race Details
Take part in the 2024 Canada Day Races virtually from wherever you are! 🇨🇦
The virtual Canada Day race can be completed anytime between June 1st, 2024 and July 8th, 2024. Participants registering for the virtual race will still get a finisher medal, Canada Day shirt and a race kit. Shipping of virtual race kits is extra. Instructions on how to track and submit your results can be found below.
Track your virtual run/walk and submit your results for the Canada Day Race using the ASICS Runkeeper™ app
How to track your run/walk and record your results using the RunkeeperTM app:
1. From your mobile device, go to your Race Roster dashboard for this event HERE
2. Click on the “Connect to my app” button, where you will be asked to confirm your name within the app (confirm your name and the event will be added to your app)
3. Revisit the Runkeeper™ app when you are ready to participate. From your start screen, click the flag symbol (bottom right) and select the race to start recording.
4. Complete your distance and save the activity. Your results will be automatically posted to the Race Roster leaderboard HERE
5. From the results page, click on your name to see your finisher summary
How to submit your results without RunkeeperTM app:
Please submit the results for your virtual race on the results page.
1. Make sure you are logged into your participant dashboard here.
2. Go to the virtual results page: https://results.raceroster.com/v2/en-US/results/gpxntmsgrhzrgwwz/results
3. Click the submit a virtual result button
4. Enter your time it took you to complete the race and submit your results.
Everyone who posts their results will receive a virtual finisher's certificate.

Anthony Tullo Music
Canadian Musician, Anthony Tullo will be performing live at the 2024 Canada Day Races!
Anthony will be performing live at the Canada Day Races during the following times:
Set One: 7:40AM - 8:10AM
Set Two: 8:30AM - 8:50AM
Set Three: 9:15AM - 9:45AM
Set Four: 10:15AM - 10:45AM
Award winning Rock/ Alternative country artist Anthony Tullo is from Oakville Ontario Canada. Anthony is a 2017 Top Ten Rising star CMAO nominee and a 2018 CMAO Top five male artist of the year nominee. His song Ten seconds to sundown hit rotation on Sirus radio and his song Shotgun ready tops his Spotify approaching 300,000 streams. Anthony headlined the Mragowo Amphithreatre in Poland 2019 to a sold crowd of 10,000 people. While touring Poland and making radio and Television appearances, he was awarded the Optimist award in Znin Poland. Along with his success in music and three albums under this belt, he has also been successful in film. Tullo has shared the screen with names like Tia Carerra (Relic Hunter) , Casper Van Dien (Melrose Place) and Catherine Oxenburg (Dynasty). Anthony produced his own Indie feature "A Secret Cross in 2012 that won him the International award of excellence at the LA Movie awards. Tullo recently produced the short film REPENT which earned him nine awards from the USA, Canada and Italy and India. Look for his music on Itunes and Spotify.
