My Story…
Dear supporters,
Last year, I ran to honour my long-time friend Amber who died from a brain tumor at the age of 47. Last year was to celebrate a life lived. But not all stories end that way. This year's run is to celebrate a life still to be lived. At the ripe old age of seven, my co-worker's son has beaten cancer. Just last month, he received his final treatment two long years after his first treatment. He came through it with flying colours and is still the great kid he was before his diagnosis. He now has the rest of his life to look forward to.
He has that opportunity because of the work that the Canadian Cancer Society does, both through research and clinical trials for the future and support and resources for those in the thick of the fight right now. By sponsoring me, you are supporting the Canadian Cancer Societey and all that it does.
I thank you in advance for your past support and continued support, but mostly the Canadian Cancer Society thanks you.
Ilana
