Bob Hutchison Record Breaker Award
The Bob Hutchison Record Breaker Award was established in 2023. The award is given to the male or female (in-person, not virtual) who breaks the course record at the NAMI Sauk Area 5K. The award is a cash prize of $100 for every year the previous record was held. For example, if the record has stood since 2020 and the record is broken in 2024, the award is $400. (Amateur athletes should check with NCAA rules regarding accepting prize money as it could have implications on amateur status.)
