Race Details
ALL RUNNERS - Costumes HIGHLY Recommended!
- We encourage everyone to be ready by 4:00pm to cheer others on, get a "look" at what you are in for, and to simply enjoy the experience
- The quarter mile route has been wheel measured and goes around the SingleSpeed Brewing building
- Entire course is marked by cones - keep cones to your LEFT as you run around the building
- Competition beer will be Beer Mile '24 (a kolsch that is 5.0% ABV), in 12oz cans ~ nice & light
- Puking, for this event, is defined as the emptying of any contents from your stomach through you nose or mouth
- If you puke, at any time during the race, you will receive a PENALTY TIME equal to your 4th LAP TIME added to your final time
- When you feel the need to puke, please aim for the numerous trash receptacles that will be spread out along the course
- All penalty distributions and final decisions will be made by the race director, with help from official course volunteers
- Finish time – please be able to finish your mile and 4 beers in 20 minutes
TEAM CATEGORY: 4 Person Relay Teams - Costumes HIGHLY Recommended!
- 15 team spots available - when they're gone, they're gone
- Sign up as a team, each of you runs a drinks a beer and runs a lap
- Teams will be responsible for handing off a designated baton (aka tap handle)
- Beer drinking does not start until the racer has the baton in their hand
- If baton is dropped/tossed/touches the ground, a penalty time of 30 seconds will be added to that team's final time
- If a team member pukes, at any part of the race - on or off the course, the team will receive a PENALTY TIME equal to the SLOWEST LAP added to to the team's final time
Timing/Results
- Each wave is a different colored bib
- NO CHANGING WAVES ~ You MUST run in your designated wave
- Chip timed - the tag on the back of your bib is the "chip" so do not bend it

- PARKING - where you can find it around SingleSpeed Brewing & downtown. Or try a taxi or Lyft.
- BEER - cannot be consumed outside the patio bar or marked areas in the parking lot. Please pay attention to and follow posted signage so we can continue to have a great event every year
- BRING FRIENDS - invite everyone you know to come and experience this crazy and unique event. They are encouraged to make signs, dress in costume, get loud, bring noise makers, and cheer like mad!
- LET'S PARTY! - following Races & Awards there will be entertainment (TBA), but you know we won't let you down
- POST-RACE FOOD - special Gable beer brat, served with kettle chips. Racers will have a ticket to redeem for one dinner included on race bib
