My Story…
I'm running my first half-marathon and fundraising for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
I’ve made the big decision this year to enter my first half-marathon event ever and I'm now registered to run the Vancouver half-marathon on June 23, 2024 near UBC.
I’d like my efforts at this half-marathon to do some good beyond what I get out of attempting this task for the first time.
I’m trying to help raise just a few dollars for Doctors without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) who help bring aid and relief to people trapped in war torn areas.
In the past few years, we have seen far too much death and destruction of innocent life and this organization reminds us to always shine a light of humanity even into the darkest corners in the darkest hours.
I’ve been doing my best trying to put in the work needed to make sure that I finish my very first half-marathon on June 23, 2024.
