I am participating in the Vancouver Half Marathon for my Nana, others may know her as Myrna Jacques. Myrna always put her greatest effort into our family and was one of the strongest role models in my life. While Myrna never backed down from a challenge, she unfortunately lost her battle to Alzheimer's in January 2024. What a journey it was for herself and our family along the way. 

I truly sympathize with all the families that have had to face this saddening disease. My goal is to raise $1000 for the Alzheimer's Society of B.C. in hopes of progressing the research and support systems surrounding this condition.
