Description

DEWC operates low-barrier drop-in centre and shelter services throughout the DTES, which offer safety, supportive surroundings, nutritious meals, and basic essentials to women of the community. We are now serving over 1000 women and their children 365 days per year, a number that keep growing every year.


Oftentimes, a hot nutritious meal is a gateway for the community's most vulnerable women to a continuum of holistic supports to improve her situation. 

Help us fundraise over $30,000 to support DEWC's expanding meals program.


What's in it for you?
This year, for the first time, we have partnered with the beloved yoga studios, YYOGA, to show you our gratitude.
Raise at least $250 and you will automatically be entered in the draw to win a 10-class pack for you and a friend at YYOGA.
All you have to do is 1-make sure your preferred charity is the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre and 2- reach the $250 target 

Spread the word, reach out to your friends and family to make sure they support your amazing effort.

Every dollar will help us serve over 1000 women everyday, offering them safe spaces, shelters, warm meals and specialized services.
