My Story…
When you're blessed to have a daughter (Emily) that is headed for her 38th birthday and is nearing her 33rd SURVIVOR-versary of childhood brain cancer, you can't help but want to support organizations like Prayers from Maria who are doing so much to support research to find a cure for childhood brain cancer.
Emily has faced plenty of struggles through the years, (related to her original diagnosis of a Primitive Neuro-ectodermal tumor (PNET) but she is a strong, determined, capable young women, who faces each obstacle as she inspires and amazes us - and others - every day.
I hope you will help me go beyond my goal of $1000, as I prepare to run the Cleveland half marathon with the Sunflower Striders. (I really want to hit the $3000-$3500 goal in celebration of Emily's 2 "little" brothers who turn 30 and 35 this year! )
Every dollar matters when you're fighting to stamp out Childhood Brain Cancer.
