The Lake Minnetonka Triathlon is an annual sprint-distance course that begins and ends at The Excelsior Commons. Net proceeds benefit our local charity partners: Neighborhood Youth Program at Interfaith Outreach by providing funds for kids to attend summer camp, and Community for the Commons to enhance and maintain the Excelsior Park.

Our goal in 2024 is to raise $50,000 and we would love your support! The Lake Minnetonka Triathlon Inc. is now officially classified as a non-profit charitable organization under the IRS, meaning donations are tax-deductible.

Please consider partnering with us in our mission to give back to the community, while also providing a unique opportunity for high-visibility brand exposure for your business.

Aquabike Closed

  • The AquaBike division is designed for athletes who only want to do the swim and bike portions of the race. After finishing the bike portion, AquaBike participants will return their bike to the Transition Area and then run roughly 100 meters to complete the race at the official finish line.

  • A Relay Team is made up of two or three athletes who compete as a team by breaking up the three legs of the race. Only one person is on the course at a time. *Team Captain Pricing is for the whole team *If you are not the team captain select Join Relay Team
