Stay inside the buoy line at all times.
Course will be explained again on the beach before each gun start.
Bike:

The bike route is slightly different to the previous years. You will still cycle anti clockwise and complete loops, coming off your final loop and heading back into transition.
The bottom left section (on the map above) you will be cycling on the opposite side of the road with two cross points to get you onto and off the opposite side. These will be coned and marked on the course with marshals. We are no longer cycling past the marina, which is now open, and you will remain on the main roads. This bottom left section will be closed to traffic.
All other sections use the main roads which are now fully operational and under 'normal' RTA rules and regulations. Please be vigilant and aware of your personal biking space and the cars around you. Where the majority of the bike course is coned it is important for you to pay particular attention to your personal safety.
The islands are now under heavy construction and there are large vehicles entering and exiting the islands heading to various locations. Please be aware.
Run:
Notes:
You run out of transition, around the roundabout and down to Water Station 'A'. This is the start of the laps.
Super Sprint:
From Water Station 'A' you run on the left to Water station 'B'. Here you turn and head to the 'More Laps Junction'. At this point you will run straight over the junction and head to the finish.
Water Station 'A' passes: 1
Water Station 'B' passes: 1
Sprint:
From Water Station 'A' you run on the left to Water station 'B'. Here you turn and head back to Water Station 'A'. This is one lap completed. You will then turn and run on the left back to Water Station 'B', turn for the final time and head to the 'More Laps Junction'. At this point you will run straight over the junction and head to the finish.
Water Station 'A' passes: 2
Water Station 'B' passes: 2
Olympic:
From Water Station 'A' you run on the left to Water station 'B'. Here you turn and head back to Water Station 'A'. This is one lap completed. You will then turn and run on the left back to Water Station 'B', turn again and then back to Water Station 'A'. You keep doing this until you have completed 4 of these with the final lap missing the last Water Startion 'A'.
For the final lap at the 'More Laps Junction' you will run straight over the junction and head to the finish.

Kids:
From Water Station 'A' you run on the left to your turn point. Here you turn and head back to the 'More Laps Junction'. At this point you will run straight over the junction and head to the finish.
