2024 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Weaselhead

Held on the last weekend of September, this beautiful course showcases the autumn colors of the Weaselhead Flats located in southwest Calgary. This 237 hectare park is home to wildlife, plantlife, and hard pack as well as singletrack trails. Connected to the Glenmore Reservoir trail system, participants enjoy a variety of terrain along the course. The Glenmore Reservoir trail system and Weaselhead Flats are both popular meeting spots for community hiking, running, and cycling groups.

Sport - 7.6 km

Enduro - 14.0 km

Race distances and maps are subject to change based on trail conditions up to the day of the race.

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, please do not bring the following on the race course:

No dogs
No headphones
No strollers or baby joggers
No nordic walking poles

Washrooms: Washroom facilities are available at Start / Finish area.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Spectators who cheer will be rewarded with smiles.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the Weaselhead Flats Parking lot and on street.

Awards & Prizes: Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as top three male and female finishers overall. All awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.
