RUN TO REMEMBER LOOSEFOOT 616

Please join The AWS1 James Buriak Foundation as we host the THIRD annual Run to Remember LOOSEFOOT 616 on October 19th, 2024 in Coronado, CA and virtually across the country and around the world.

We look forward to you joining us in honoring and remembering LOOSEFOOT 616.

All proceeds go to The AWS1 James Buriak Foundation. We are an all-volunteer military and military spouse organization dedicated to providing pre-mishap education and immediate post-mishap support for the Navy and Marine Corps Aviation community and their families.

In addition to providing immediate support, we also provide resources for childcare, relieving immediate financial burdens and initial help and planning.

The route on Coronado will begin at Tidelands Park and will run along the waterfront and the Bayshore Bikeway to the respective turnaround points, depending on the distance. The 6.16 KM course will turnaround near the Coronado Tennis Courts and the Coronado Yacht Club. The 6.16 Mile course will turnaround by looping the Glorietta Bay Park adjacent to the Coronado Community Center.

Last year we had production issues with our shirts. If you never received your shirt from last year's run please reach out so we can try our best to make it right. To try and avoid any issues this year any registrations submitted after October 1st will still receive shirts but they will not be guaranteed to arrive by race day. We will do our best to get all participants shirts out as soon as possible. Again we apologize for the issues and have made some changes to avoid the same issues this year.

Please make sure you VERIFY which location and which distance you are running during the registration process.
