United Way Greater Toronto

United Way Greater Toronto is the largest non-government funder of social services in the GTA, working to fight poverty across Peel, Toronto and York Region.  

As the GTA faces escalating challenges – rising food insecurity, a housing crisis, high costs of living, mental health challenges – United Way Greater Toronto is working to strengthen our local communities. Together with our network of 300+ community agencies, we are helping ensure our friends and neighbours have the support they need year-round, close to home. Through ground-breaking research, strategic leadership, local advocacy and cross-sectoral partnerships, we are working to build stronger and more equitable neighbourhoods where all residents can access services and opportunities, good jobs, affordable housing, and feel connected and belonging in the community they call home.
