World Parkinson's Program

World Parkinson's Program (WPP) is a registered Canadian charity. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those living with Parkinson's. We want to ensure that no person with Parkinson’s is deprived of medications or supportive services regardless of their remote location, ethnicity, age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status. 

WPP works with people with Parkinson’s and caregivers in Canada and around the world to provide free medications, multilingual educational materials and assistive devices to those in need. We have 22 active chapters and are providing free medication at 12 locations in 10 different countries. WPP’s goal is to fulfill the needs of those with Parkinson’s and allow them to improve their quality of life so they can continue to lead productive lives, irrespective of their location.  

We also provide free weekly online exercise programs for people with Parkinson’s, and seniors, to help them in improving their quality of life. This helps to lessen the burden on our healthcare system.  WPP also conducts regular educational seminars in the GTA for Parkinson’s patients as well as for their caregivers and families. These seminars help people to learn more about this debilitating disease.
