My Story…
After a brief hiatus from racing, I'm back! Since my last half marathon in 2022, I've had enough time to forget the worst parts of the experience (anything after kilometre #17 or involving lost toenails) and enough time to miss the best parts (??).
Each time I run this race, I fundraise for the Canadian Cancer Society to honour my friend Nic, who passed away in 2019. CCS' work in patient support, education, advocacy, and research touches lives across the country. Since 2019, I've raised over $3,000 for CCS through support from friends and family like you.
