My Story…
Please help me raise money for the Toronto Alzheimer’s Society. I will be personally matching all donations!
My father recently passed away on September 25th after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. My Dad’s illness has had a direct impact on how I view the world - our time is too short with the ones we love and our health of mind and body is a gift that can change at any time. I am excited to run in this year’s TCS half marathon as it is the 5 year anniversary since I ran the TCS Marathon for my late Mom who died of ALS in 2019.
I believe once we start finding ways to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease we will find ways to tackle other neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, Parkinson’s Disease and FLD. I will be matching any donation, so please donate what you can!
