My Story…
I’m taking on one of my biggest personal challenges: running my first-ever marathon. But this is about more than just crossing the finish line—it’s about supporting SickKids Hospital, a cause close to my heart.
I’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 for their incredible work, and I’m dedicating this marathon to the memory of Bella Thomson, known as #BellaBrave. Bella inspired millions while battling multiple rare conditions but sadly passed away this summer at just 10 years old.
I’ll be running the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in a pink shirt, with the support of Bella’s family to honour her memory.
Whether through donating, sharing your own SickKids stories, or simply cheering me on, your support can help keep Bella’s spirit alive and ensure SickKids continues to give kids like Bella hope and care.
Description
I am running in the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon and raising funds to support SickKids Foundation.
Donations will support the hospital as they embark on a journey to revolutionize care through Precision Child Health. Every kid is one-of-a-kind. So they deserve more than on-size-fits-all healthcare. Precision Child Health is healthcare tailored specifically to kids. With your help, SickKids can DIAGNOSE FASTER. TREAT SMARTER. PREDICT BETTER.
