My Story…
This is my 12th year participating in the 5K in support of Silent Voice Canada services, programs, and resources to Deaf adults, youth, children, infants, and their families, in American Sign Language (ASL).
Silent Voice can’t make the impact that it does without the support of donors and sponsors like you. Please consider sponsoring my 5K. All proceeds support direct client and family services. Let’s dare to make the dream of equity, inclusion, and belonging a reality. Let’s dare to ensure that Deaf kids acquire an accessible language (a signed language) in those critical early years; that Deaf and Hard of Hearing people gain equitable access to all that life offers; that Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth dream big and thrive; that Deaf family members know belonging. Silent Voice staff and volunteers, greater than 90% of whom are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, help reveal to everyone who comes through our doors their worth.
Silent Voice turns 50 years old in 2025 and has a lot to celebrate. Its impact - breaking down barriers, enhancing communication, promoting inclusion & belonging, and developing skills - is felt by thousands every year.
Let’s dare to effect change. Thank you for your support!
