Young Kenyans thrive when supported through Education
I know many of you raise funds for, and contribute to, various charities. One close to my heart is Community Education Services (Canada). CES Canada has helped reduce levels of acute poverty in western Kenya, providing hope through education. CES has provided 2500 scholarships for 750 students with over half of sponsored students going on to higher education. CES Alumni are now engaged in careers including agriculture, teaching, medicine and business.
This will be the 14th year I run a half-marathon on behalf of CES Canada – and again I am feeling a bit older than last year. Please consider sponsoring me for this run – it takes place on October 20th.
Donate to help Ken raise money for 2024 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
