The INN St. Thomas-Elgin

Join us for the 11th Annual The Shamrock Shuffle 2024 and make a positive impact on our community! 

All proceeds from registrations and pledges will go directly to The INN St. Thomas-Elgin, aiding individuals experiencing homelessness in St. Thomas-Elgin.

Since its establishment in 2010, The INN St. Thomas-Elgin has been the only low-barrier emergency shelter, evolving from seasonal church basements to a year-round, 24/7 facility at 10 Princess Ave. With 40 beds and 10 cool/warming spaces, The INN provides refuge for men, women, seniors, and individuals from the LGBTQ2+ community, all aged 16 and older.

Guests at The INN receive more than just a warm bed and meals; they benefit from hot meals, a safe night's sleep, access to showers, clothing, personal care items, laundry facilities, transportation, medication assistance, and crucial support. Beyond immediate needs, The INN has become a comprehensive support hub, addressing various aspects of guests' lives through initiatives like identification replacement, financial assistance applications, and connections to community services.
