Help Elizabeth raise money

For participating in 2024 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend

My Story…

LaMae was a happy, smiley little girl who put a smile on everyone's face. During her life, she touched many people and brought joy to everyone around her. LaMae lived only 473 days. On February 23, 2022, LaMae was dropped off at daycare like any normal Wednesday. Her parents received a phone call in the middle of the day that something was wrong with her. LaMae, despite everyone’s best effort, went to Heaven that day. The only explanation her loved ones would receive is “Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood” or SUDC. As we would later learn, SUDC affects nearly 400 children in the US every year. I, and so many others, had never heard of SUDC until it impacted our loved ones. There is a lot more research and funding needed to help determine what causes SUDC and ways it can be prevented. I still remember the emotions I felt when I received the phone call with the news LaMae was gone. I cannot fathom the pain and heart break her entire family has felt since that day. That is why I haven't hesitated when LaMae’s family has asked me to fundraise for the SUDC foundation and run in her memory. Please support my effort in raising awareness and in fundraising for the 2024 Twins City Marathon.
