Help NICOLE raise money

Greetings! I am running in the TC 10 Mile on October 6 as part of the Save the Boundary Waters team to raise awareness about the Boundary Waters Canoe Access wilderness and the effort to ensure permanent protection of the BWCA from toxic sulfide-ore copper mining.

One of my fondest memories as an adult that I have with my dad is when we took a father-daughter trip to the BWCA in September 2013. It was my first trip to the BWCA, and I am thankful that we were able to bond over our shared love of the outdoors, make the most of a couple rainy days with paddling, card playing, creative cooking, naps, listening to loons, portaging and canoeing, troubleshooting, and appreciating a slice of this quiet, wild place. 

Please join me in my fundraising effort in support of the non-profit! The goal is to ensure permanent protection from sulfide-ore copper mining within the wilderness so that this wonderful natural resource may remain pristine for the wildlife that currently inhabits it, the delicate ecosystems that exist within it, and that we as humans may visit and appreciate its wonderment for years to come.
