Our story…
On November 2nd, 2024 we will be joining Team Cassie and Friends for our second time in the Hamilton Walk / Run!
Audrey was diagnosed with JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) in 2022 when she was 3 years old. Since her diagnosis she has had numerous doctor appointments, tests, procedures and a life of taking several medications. Cassie and Friends is a Canadian registered charity that has been instrumental in helping us navigate Audrey's diagnosis and treatment. Their mission is to transform the lives of kids and families living with juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases through research, education, connection and support in every province and territory.
We are also so grateful for the amazing Rheumatology team at McMaster Children's Hospital.
