Dear friends and family,

I will be playing in the third annual Braestone Classic pond hockey tournament from February 2-4.  Our team is aptly named the “No Regretskys”, made up of seven Braestone neighbours on the two streets in our phase.

The Braestone Winter Classic is a unique, community-based fundraiser (3-on-3 pond hockey) - that takes place at the Braestone Farm on the 9th line of Oro-Medonte.  This third annual event is designed to bring the community together to raise funds for The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre (OUR local cancer centre).  Last year, not only did we exceed our fundraising goal of $100,000, we also brought together hundreds of people...players, families, volunteers, corporate sponsors, and media...for a fun weekend and a meaningful cause. It’s all about the best of small-town Canada. 
The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre @RVH provides comprehensive medical care for cancer patients in our region, resulting in better access and better outcomes for our residents.
