Help Abigail raise money

Hi 👋 my name is Abby Clifford, I am an athlete, a mom, and a wife on a mission to make a difference in this world one decision at a time! I am here to ask for your help! 

I am beyond humbled to be able to carry the load in a small way for a one weekend of my life this Spring! I will be RUCK’ing the entire length of Cape Cod and back, split among 7 amazing teammates. Over the course of the last weekend in April we will RUCK, relay-style in 2-3 mile increments for 200+ miles. Why …. For those who can’t! 

Each day , 22 military service personnel take their lives due to challenges physical or invisible after service. This statistic needs help, and Hero’s In Transition does just that. Every single dollar raised through this foundation is given directly back to men and women, and or families in need…. FOR FREE.  (Before, during, or after serving our country). And this, this means the world to me! So this year, and for as many years as I can going forward, this event will be a part of my yearly goals in some way! Giving back physically, and raising funds for families that so often stay quiet and say they don’t need anything… is 2024’s goal. My personal goal for fundraising is $3,500 with a team goal of $12,000! 

To say I’m forever grateful for the men and women that so valiantly serve our country just isn’t enough. So, I WILL RUCK! 

Currently my brother and sister-in-law as well as several cousins are early on in starting their careers in the military, and I have several aunts uncles and extended family who are veterans! I am excited to carry the load beside them and to stand in their shoes in a small way. Our “Oh Deer Why Are We Here” team is running specifically in memory of Kurt Keller, our teammates Meghan’s late husband who unfortunately took his own life after serving with Meghan in Iraq. There are many reasons why we are running as a team, and all truthfully for the same goal. To do it for those who can’t. So, if you can…. Donate! $2, $200, or $2000 if you feel compelled.

I hope to raise awareness and continue to support this wonderful organization for years to come! I am blessed to have the life I have and can say that only because we are the land of the free… because of the brave! So thank you to all active, retired & veteran service men and women around the country. YOU are the glue to USA.
