My Story…
This year is my fourth year rucking with team AF and supporting Heroes In Transition. Heroes In Transition is a local, non-profit that supports veterans with and without disabilities that are transitioning to civilian life. I got involved with HIT after learning the impact HIT had on my brother-in-law's life. While I am not a veteran, I understand the challenges of adjusting to a new life circumstance. HIT provides a number of wonderful programs to veterans, including home modifications for veterans with disabilities, service dogs, and therapy sessions. It is a privelege to support this amazing organization once again.
