My Story…
In 2024, I’ve made the decision to participate in the Mother’s Day Run to raise funds for the Calgary Health Trust. This remarkable organization plays a crucial role in ensuring that every newborn has a fighting chance. Their mission is to provide access to cutting-edge technology and exceptional care for premature babies.
Our personal connection to this cause runs deep. On February 10, 2019, our twins arrived 8 weeks ahead of schedule. Their early start meant spending a combined total of 89 days in intensive care. Despite their challenging beginnings, we are filled with gratitude that our twins are now happy, healthy, and thriving as regular 5-year-olds.
By raising funds for the Calgary Health Trust, we hope to create more success stories like ours. Every contribution ensures that other parents can experience the same positive outcome for their little ones. Let’s come together to make a difference and give every newborn the best possible start in life. 🌟🏃♀️🏃♂️💙
Thank you from my Two Giraffes 🙌❤️
Description
Calgary Health Foundation funds breakthrough investments, like giving every newborn a fighting chance. We’re ensuring the one in eight babies born prematurely in our community have access to the best technologies available, and we’re actively addressing Alberta’s higher than average preterm birth rate through applied research. Your participation and support through the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk, & Wheel will support our ongoing Newborns Need campaign which aims to raise over $60 million to transform neonatal care across Southern Alberta.
