Our story…
When we brought Emma home the first time, we had no idea trips to the hospital would become something we got "used to" and we certainly didn't expect the especially scary events of her first couple weeks. Emma still has lots going on but this strong little girl takes everything in stride. We will be forever grateful to have experienced such amazing care during our stay at the Children's Hospital NICU and are thankful that we continue to have access to the best at each follow up visit. We know Emma is in good hands.
With this journey so far, we felt it was even more fitting for our first Mother's Day to participate in the Sportchek Mother's Day Run/Walk, which raises money for Calgary NICUs through the Calgary Health Foundation.
