Our story…
We love participating in this race each year, probably because it encourages us to reflect on the time that we spent in the Neonatal ICUs at the Foothills hospital and South Health Campus. During that time, we felt overwhelmed with the situation, but we were also awed by the support given to us. We can never explain how grateful we are for the caring and skillful NICU staff, and for the love and support that we received from our family and friends. Reflecting on how fortunate we are, and taking part in this race, feels like a cool way to say 'Thank You'.
