Help Adrian raise money

I was introduced to The Crim Festival of Races at five years old when I took home the 11th place medal in the Teddy Bear Trot. My father played a key role in this introduction as he was an avid participant in the 10-Mile Run on behalf of his local union. I took a 25 year hiatus from running after the Teddy Bear Trot since running just wasn’t my thing. In 2015 I made the decision to move back to Flint and do my part in giving back to my hometown. Three years after returning home I was presented the unique opportunity to join the Board of Directors for the Crim Fitness Foundation. It was in this capacity that not only was I re-introduced to Crim and the phenomenal work this organization is doing in the Flint community, but I developed a true love for running.

In 2020 my father who introduced me to running passed away. Honoring his running legacy became my WHY for running. Inspiring others to lead an active and healthy lifestyle is my other WHY. I’ll be the first person to tell you that running The Crim is one of the most rewarding experiences. With that being said, I realize that not everyone is a runner. Walking in The Crim is equally just as rewarding. No matter the method, crossing the finish line of The Crim is a major accomplishment.
