Celebrate your furry BFF by being part of Manitoba Marathon’s 5th Annual Fast and Furry run presented by Hub International and Wawanesa Insurance!
This year,we are excited to offer this "pawesome" event in-person and virtually!! Join us on April 28th to complete a 5K run/walk or 10K run with your favorite four-legged friend! All participants will be receive an event shirt, a gift for your furry friend, a medal for you and a matching pet tag medal for your partner!
Join us for post-race human treats from Oh Donuts, and dog treats from Trail Dog Treats!
Or, run virtually between April 28th-May 15th and submit your results and photos online.
This year, we are encouraging all participants to support the K9 Advocacy Manitoba! Be sure to make a generous donation when you register to support the great work they do to support all our furry friends!

Important information for Pet Safety!
We can't wait to see you and your furry friends at the start line! Whether you are a pet owner, or just running on your own, please be sure to brush up on pet safety before event day!
- Furry friends are welcome. Parents and guardians, please talk to your children about pet etiquette. They should always ask before interacting with a dog and should approach slowly and calmly after being given permission.
- Know your pet! Please bring well socialized dogs only.
- Watch for signs of stress in your pet and be mindful that not everyone will know how to best interact with your furry friend. Take some space if you need it!
- As this is a dog friendly event, it is of utmost importance to ensure your pup is dog friendly & crowd friendly. Harnesses are encouraged for the race and be sure to leave space in between your pup and others during the race.
- Pack poop bags and water. Please be respectful and clean up after your dog.
- Meeting on leash can be stressful for dogs. Leave space between dogs, and always ask the other owner before allowing your dogs to meet.
