My Story…
Hello everyone!
I'm thrilled to share that I've registered myself for the 2024 Barrie Honda Waterfront run, where I'll be running 10k!
I’m running for those who struggle with and/or lost a loved one due to mental health, addictions and homelessness.
Earlier this year I lost my little brother. So this is for you, Benny.
My running journey started in 2023 when I began running regularly to combat my stress and anxiety. Initially, I would go for 30-minute walks (for my silly lil mental health) and gradually increased the distance to 5k-8k runs each week. Last year, my best friend and I ran the 5k Foam Fest and raised almost 100% of our target for the Make A Wish foundation. This year, I aim to raise a minimum of $800 to support New Path and The Busby Centre.
