My Story…
My name is Myriam Charron aka Mimi, I am a 52 years old brain tumour survivor. I am the luckiest woman alive! I have the most wonderful husband, life partner and best friend, Andrew as well as 2 kids, Juliette and Jack who have become amazing young adults with whom I am spending this crazy adventure we call life! Having lived in Jasper as a young woman, the relay is a magical moment for me. It brings back incredible memories while creating just as many new ones.
Taking part in the relay as a survivor makes it very special. This year for the 5th time I will be coordinating 2 teams for the North side of the relay which equates to 18 runners. Being in the Rockies with so many friends and family is surreal on its own, but when they are here to run for your cause it is a gift, one that I will be forever grateful for. Every time I am touched deeply by the people that want to join me in this adventure of a lifetime. The Rockies are a place like no other, a place to help give hope and spirit to those who need both!
